John to Give Talk at San Diego Central Library

I’m very happy to be named a “Writer to Watch” by the San Diego Friends of the Central Library. Part of this honor is an invitation to give a talk at the magnificent downtown Central Library on Saturday, Feb 18th at 1 pm. It will be in the Mary Hollis Clark Room.

If you haven’t been to the new Central Library building, this is a great opportunity to see it.

330 Park Blvd., San Diego, CA 92101

There is convenient underground parking on 11th Ave. However, there is a big event at Petco that may make parking less available, so please plan accordingly.

I promise a lively talk about my books, especially my latest, Lorenzo’s Assassin, and a few things I have learned about writing. I also promise not to talk too long.

I’ve been very fortunate to make many friends, especially writing friends, since Pam and I moved here 16 years ago. I hope to see many of you on the 18th.
